  • BE mural

    2012 Fine Arts Booster Project at UAS- Community art project under the guidance of resident muralist Betsy Casanas from the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. Involved over 500 volunteers. Project design and leadership by Ghia Haddad.

  • Mosaic Garden Bench

    A mosaic garden bench made from recycled tiles and ceramics created by volunteer parents, students and staff (2014)- Project managed and designed by Ghia Haddad

  • Bridges of Color

    “Bridges of Color” yarnstorm installations project that joined pieces of knitted and crocheted yarn sent to us from over 20 cities worldwide-as a visual expression of the strings that connect us regardless of where we come from, how old we are, what we do, or what we believe in. FABC at UAS project, designed and led by Ghia Haddad.

  • UAE Martyrs' Wall

    The process and inauguration of the FABC “Martyrs’ Wall” commemorative monument of pearl flowers handmade by students, parents, staff and friends of the Universal American School to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers and to honor the culture and heritage of the UAE inaugurated at the Dubai Festival City Mall in November 2018. Project led and designed by Ghia Haddad.

  • In my own words: involving communities in art

    As founder and president of the FABC at UAS, I got to understand first hand the importance of involving communities in art projects, especially communities like those found in international schools where many different cultures and nationalities coexist, and where there is a lot of potential for learning, growth, and lasting positive change.
